House for a young family.
The house is being built in the neighbourhood of onetime swabian farmhouses. It takes after its ancestries in many ways: the simple volume, the use of traditional building materials, the thick brick walls surrounding a tile stove. The split-level plan separates the rooms of children and parents from the common living area. Besides the rational order of spaces and the low energy mechanical system, an essential intention was to design a friendly and lovable home.
