The development plan for the bus terminal aims not only to create a functionally efficient and economically operated station, but also to reinterpret the surrounding area as a public park and transform it into a vibrant urban space. Welcoming visitors arriving at the railway station and the bus terminal is a task of key importance for the town, requiring an architectural character worthy of the location — the first impression of a settlement embraced by the Fatra Mountains. By organizing bus and pedestrian circulation in a logical way that minimizes their intersections, we propose a large, continuous public space enriched with characteristic mountain vegetation.
