Conversion of two single family houses into a delicatessen shop and bistro

The deli and restaurant was created by the radical conversion of two residential buildings. While preserving them in the economical way, new elements were added to the composition of the fences and the landscaping of the front gardens have made this prominent place in Zalacsány inviting and attractive from all directions. The critical reconstuction included the complete transformation of both the mass and the main facade: the pitched roog was demolished and the two functional units were linked by a new dining area. The space is contiued by the covered-open terrace, hidden from the street by the reconfigured barn. The visual axis is oriented towards the green of the Batthyány Mansion park.
